Dental care

As a Healthy Blue member, you receive all of your MO HealthNet Managed Care benefits and services, including:

  • Primary care provider (PCP) visits
  • Lab tests and X-rays
  • Immunizations and wellness visits
  • EPSDT (early and periodic screening, diagnosis, and treatment) services for members under 21
  • Specialist visits
  • Maternity care
  • Family planning
  • Hospital care
  • Behavioral health (mental and substance use services)
  • Complementary and Alternative Therapies for Chronic Pain Management
  • Chriopractic care
  • Home health and hospice services
Individuals who are part of the Adult Expansion Group (AEG) will also receive:
  • Habilitative Services.
 

There are no copays, or fees, for these benefits. You do not need a referral to see a specialist in your plan. See your member handbook for a full list of benefits.
Find a Doctor

Healthy teeth are an important part of your overall health. Dental care is provided by DentaQuest. Eligible members can receive routine oral exams, cleanings, X-rays, extractions, fillings, and medically necessary emergency procedures from an oral surgeon.

Eligible members can receive an annual eye exam and glasses through MARCH® Vision Care once every two years or every year for members age 20 and younger.

Find a provider

Eligible members can get no-cost rides to medical appointments from Medical Transportation Management (MTM). You or your provider should call to schedule your ride at least three business days before your appointment. 

Call MTM at 888-597-1193 (TTY 711) or visit the MTM website to set up your ride.

Whether you are thinking about having a baby, pregnant, already a new mom, or you’re not planning to have a baby, we can help you take steps to stay healthy at every stage.

You may have special care needs. To help with these, we have care and disease management programs. If you need support to get and stay healthy, we can help. 

You may qualify for care management services if you have:

  • Complex illnesses that require the coordination of many services.
  • Children with special healthcare needs.
  • Had or are going to have a transplant.
  • A high-risk pregnancy.
  • Multiple chronic illnesses.
  • High-risk behavioral healthcare needs.
  • Experienced domestic abuse.
  • A responsibility for someone in foster care or adult guardianship.
  • Special healthcare needs.

A care manager will work with you to help arrange your care needs. They will work with your doctors to make sure you get the right care when and where you need it.

Healthy Rewards is a no-cost, optional program for eligible members enrolled in our health plan. The program encourages you to get the care you need to create a healthy lifestyle.

Pregnant women and new moms

  • Electric breast pump
  • Choice of a car seat or crib and diapers, breast feeding kit, or a safe sleep kit, available beginning your third trimester of pregnancy
  • Maternity support hose and support belts
  • Childbirth and breastfeeding classes
  • Baby shower events to learn about pre- and post-delivery care and family planning
  • Home-delivered meals for two weeks after delivery
  • Maternity program with weekly assessments, high-risk pregnancy monitoring, and nurses available 24/7 for support

Active and healthy lifestyle

  • No-cost access to WW® (formerly Weight Watchers) meetings and online subscriptions
  • Local Gym membership for members 18 and older with an obesity diagnosis
  • Blood pressure cuff and digital scales
  • Cell Phone Benefit – Members who qualify for the Federal Lifeline Program will receive 200 bonus minutes upon enrollment (once per lifetime) and 200 bonus minutes during their birthday month as long as they remain a Healthy Blue member
  • Non-medical transportation to the pharmacy after appointments, methadone clinic or behavioral health family appointments, and Healthy Blue-sponsored outreach events
  • Covered cost of taking the High School Equivalency Test (HiSET)
  • Hypoallergenic bedding for qualifying members with asthma
  • Art therapy sessions for members age 3yrs and older with autism, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), emotional abuse, or those going through cancer treatment. Limited to members participating in Care or Disease Management.
  • Equine (horse) therapy sessions for members ages 6 and older with active treatment plan with a diagnosis of Autism will receive 10 riding sessions per year at PATH Centers throughout Missouri
  • Concierge Welcome Room Services (St. Joseph, Cape Girardeau, and Columbia) learn more about your benefits

Extras for kids:

  • Memberships to after-school programs like Boys & Girls Club, 4-H Club, and Boy or Girl Scouts
  • Asthma spacers to make it easier when using inhalers
  • Three-month membership to the Kurbo program to learn healthy eating and lifestyle choices
Expansion Members
  • No-cost Personal Care items: $25 gift card to purchase personal hygiene products
  • Transportation Essentials: Choose a $50 Gas Card or a $35 Oil Change or $25 Uber Card every year
  • Covered cost of taking the High School Equivalency Test (HiSET).
  • Industry Certification: members can receive up to $100 to cover the cost of the industry certifications offered through Healthy Blue learning platforms
  • Workforce Attire: $200 gift card to purchase uniforms or work attire upon completion of an Industry Certification. Hypoallergenic bedding for qualifying members with asthma.
  • ULearn training program to help members assess their skills, train, and search for jobs, and prepare for the HiSET
  • Up to a $50 gift card to buy household items for members moving onto independent living setting

24-Hour Nurse Help Line
Registered nurses are available anytime, day or night, to answer your medical questions. Call the 24-Hour Nurse Help Line seven days a week at 833-388-1407 (TTY 711).
